On Tuesday 29 August 2023, Bangkok School of Tropical Medicine and Stduent Affairs Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University organized Academic Forum – academic presentations and discussions among students, lecturers and supervisors. At Faculty of Tropical Medicine, we support our students to have the opportunities to present their research ideas and learn to communicate scientifically. Over 85 students and academic staff from all programs joined the event and enjoyed spending time together to share opinions, help shaping students ‘ research and maximize learning.

Student Affairs organised the Cultural Day

On August 16, 2023 the Student Affairs organised the Cultural Day – National Delegation for FTM students during 1-4pm at 5th Floor, 50th Anniversary Chalermprakiat Building. More thank 50 participated students experienced learning Thai language and culture. The international students from over 15 countries around the world shared highlights of their countries with the rest. We really appreciated the diversity we have in our TropMed community and everyone had a chance to practice the leadership skill by representing their country so well done to all!

Friday, August 11, 2023, the Archives and Museum Department, Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center welcomed a group of students from the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University; The visit was covered at HRH Prince Father’s Biography and Wisdom of the Land’s Exhibition at Mahidol Learning Center, Mahidol University Salaya and Campus Tour.

BSTM and Student Affairs have given Ban Wang Sing School

On 25th July 2023 – BSTM and Student Affairs have given Ban Wang Sing School – Kanchanaburi 12,865 baht from 2nd hand cloth sale. This school project is hosted by the Student Affairs. We received so much clothes from donation and managed to raise the funds by selling them in the faculty fair by our students. This amount is to help with the cost of painting the futsal pitch for the children. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

Warm welcome to Prof. Summon Chomchai, and 3rd year students from Biological Science program, Mahidol University International College (MUIC) to Open House at Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University on 7 July 2023 by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wirongrong Chierakul Deputy Dean Education, Assoc. Prof. Wirichada Pan-ngum Asst Dean Student Affairs, faculty lecturers and staff. The MUIC students learned about the programs, student life and support, meet & greet by the MUIC alumni at TropMed. The students were taken to see the faculty facilities at the Central laboratory and brand new BSL3 laboratory (Biosafety Level 3 Laboratory) Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
