As soon as possible after arrival, please come and see us at the International
Student Center, so that we can first check and record your passport and
visa details.
This is an
opportunity for you to get to know us, for us to get to know you, and
for you to get answers to any questions you may have about orientation
and settling in. If you need to know when and where the first session
in your program will be held, if you need to open a bank account, find
a supermarket, get some film developed, buy some food/takeaway, buy some
necessities for your accommodation, buy an English-language newspaper,
etc., we will be pleased to help.
In addition, if necessary, we will also give you:
• TropMed Survival Guide for
International Students with map of the nearby area, and other essential
information
• Map of Bangkok
• Emergency contact wallet card
• Course brochures/schedules
