| Ethical Policy in Research |
| |
Research involving human subjects is subject to a consideration and ethical approval of the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine. The same token is applied to the research involving experimental animals (especially mammals - mice, rats, hamsters, rabbits, etc.) where the research proposal/protocol is subject to a review by the Animal Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine. |

| Research and Teaching Resources |

In addition to the laboratories located in most of the Departments, the Faculty also facilitates the students with the Central Equipment Unit which is well equipped with certified scientific instruments, such as gas chromatography (GC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and atomic absorption spectrophotometer. 2D Electrophoresis, ELISA reader, PCR machine, centrifugation.
The Faculty facilitates computer laboratory for teaching, training and internet searching.
In regards to teaching, the Faculty of Tropical Medicine houses 69 academic staff who received doctoral degree or ranking Associate Professor qualified for teaching Ph.D. students. All of these indicators fulfill the requirements set by the Commission of Higher Education, Ministry of Education.

| Student Supports and Mentoring Services |

Ph. D. students passing proposal defense examination will qualified for a research supporting fund of 24,000 baht.
The Faculty of Tropical Medicine also establishes a Student Affairs Developing Committee to assist the students with any issues necessary.

| Market Demand for Graduates |
| |
Even though most of Ph.D. students are previously employed before entering the program, statistics show that Ph. D. (Trop. Med.) graduates are employed within one year of graduation. |
