Professor, Senior Consultant Nicholas John White
Clinical Professor Teerawat Kulthanan, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, in the capacity of Vice President of the Prince Mahidol Award Foundation, Mr.Thani  Thongphakdi, Acting Director-General of the Department of Information, and Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Public Relations of the Prince Mahidol Award Foundation, and Professor Vicharn Panich, Chairman of the International Award Committee of the Prince Mahidol Award Foundation, held a press conference to announce the 19th  Prince Mahidol Award for the year 2010 at the Prince Mahidol Musuem, 2nd Floor, Syamindra Building, Siriraj Hospital.

Assoc. Prof. Pratap Singhasivanon, Dean, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University received  the National Award for Outstanding Preventive Medicine Physician of the year 2010 as a person who makes a sacrifice, uses knowledge and abilities  to subsidize preventive medicine in Thailand regularly. Assoc. Prof. Pratap received the Award  from His Excellency Mr. Kasem Watanachai, Privy Councillor. The ceremony has been organized by The Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand, Thailand Hospital Administrator Association and Ministry of Public Health at Conference Room, 9th Floor,   Chesda Bondindra Building,  Phra Nang Klao Hospital, Nonthaburi

Prof. Usa Thisyakorn
Prof. Usa Thisyakorn is one of the recipients of the Outstanding Asian Pediatrician Award 2009. The award is in recognition for her outstanding contribution in the field of Pediatrics. The award will be presented during the Congress’s opening ceremony of the 13 th Asian Pacific Congress of Pediatrics (APCP) on October 14, 2009. The 13 th APCP will be held at Shanghai International Convention Center (SICC) in Shanghai, China, from October 14-18, 2009.
