The core mission of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, is to produce and develop graduates in tropical medicine, the health sciences and public health, to utilize their knowledge and high moral qualities for the betterment of the country. The Faculty provides medical care for tropical diseases as part of its community service role, and supports the solution for the Nation’s health problems. Another important mission is to conduct research into all manners of tropical diseases. The Faculty of Tropical Medicine has been pursuing these missions to achieve the policy objectives of Mahidol University, and the Nation, for the past 49 years.
