The Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University has been evaluated as Level 5 (Excellent) among Thai Faculties of Medicine for the year 2009, due to the quality of its research in science and technology. Assist. Prof. Pongrama Ramasoota, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, received the Award on behalf of the Faculty, on 9 June 2010, at the Asia Hotel in Bangkok.
