Lecture Series on "Antibodies Determine Virulence in Dengue" 50th Anniversary Celebration, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University
The Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, celebrated its Diamond Anniversary--50 Years of TropMed by organizing many different activities. One of the academic activities is a lecture series that will extend throughout the year.
The first lecture was held on 8th February 2010 by Dr. Scott B Halstead, on the topic entitled "Antibodies Determine Virulence in Dengue" in the Lecture Room, 4th Floor, Chamlong-Harinasuta Building, in the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
Dr. Halstead is an expert on dengue infection, with more than 30 years experience in dengue-endemic areas. He is now Senior Advisor and Research Director for the Pediatric Dengue Vaccine Initiative, or PDVI, located at the International Vaccine Institute, in Seoul, Korea.
