Asian Dengue Training Course 2010, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University
The Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University organized the “Asian Dengue Training Course 2010” on 16-21 August 2010, at the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University with 37 distinguished participants, which are Medical Doctors, Scientists and Health Personnel from 12 respective countries; USA, Australia, Japan, Vietnam, Timor Leste, Cambodia, United Kingdom, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, LaoPDR and Thailand. The training was joined by various well-known potential speakers in the area of Dengue both local and international levels.
Objectives of the training aim to provide the participants a precious opportunity to share experiences and discuss on various issues related to epidemiology, management and control of dengue. The training has successfully provided the participants gaining valuable knowledge and experiences from the real-life situations in Thailand highly endemic area.
