Title

Master of Science (School Health)

Objectives 

  1. To learn about current challenges affecting school health, including but not limited to: general health, nutrition, epidemiology, toxicology, and environmental impact, and to plan and conduct further research in these areas.
  2. To be able to recognize problems and plan, implement manage, and evaluate the impact of School health development projects.
  3. To engage in collaborative and participative projects with various stakeholders, and effectively share school health knowledge with the wider public.
  4. To apply statistical tools and information systems to analyze and assess health data, and to efficiently present data and results of ongoing research to stakeholders.
  5. To understand the unique ethical challenges and demands facing school health professionals, and act according to the highest academic and professional ethical standards. 

Qualification 

  1. Holding a bachelor degree in Arts, Medical Science, Social Science and Education from local universities in Thailand or foreign universities abroad accepted by Office of the Higher Education Commission.
  2. A cumulative GPA is not less than 2.50
  3. Those who do not meet above criteria may be accepted by the consideration of course director with administrative program committee and the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University. 

Program duration 

  • Plan A: 2 years (with thesis)
  • Plan B: 1 year (with dissertation) Programs start annually in August
