The Department of Tropical Hygiene, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, organized a staff development program titled \u201cEmpowering Academic and Support Staff with AI Agents\u201d<\/strong> on 24 March 2026.<\/p>

The program was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ratchainun Thammasujit<\/strong> from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, Srinakharinwirot University. Through lectures and hands-on workshops, participants learned about the fundamentals of large language models (LLMs) and prompt frameworks, AI applications for research, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and NotebookLM, and the use of AI tools to enhance administrative tasks.<\/p>
