| Background | This unit has been established for more than 20 years in order to conduct research particularly tropical disease that may be potential to seriously illness and needed critical intensive care, eg. malaria. |
| Activities (TRO) | – Teaching (การเรียนการสอน) DTMH, PHD (TM, CTM), MCTM, MSc (TM) – Research (งานวิจัย): Malaria: clinical management, new antimalarial drug trials, intensive care in severe malaria. – Outstanding (บริการวิชาการ): Temporary advisory and consulting to WHO and Ministry of Public Health/ Thailand. for malaria management. The unit has also collaborated in WHO Collaborating Centre (Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University) ‘s malaria training courses for more than 20 years. |
