The Department Of Clinical Tropical Medicine, One Of The First Departments Within The Faculty Of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University Was Established By Prof. Emeritus Khunying Tranakchit Harinasuta In 1960 To Pursue Research And Training In Tropical Diseases Prevalent In Thailand And Thereby Contribute To The Advancement Of Knowledge And Clinical Care In Tropical Medicine. Our Missions Of Clinical Research, Teaching And Training Focused On Tropical Medicine And Services In Both Clinical-Oriented And Practical Laboratory-Oriented Themes Are Intertwined. All Three Missions Are Integral To The Goals Of Our Department To Be Centre Of Excellence For Clinical Tropical Medicine.
