My main research interest is in the fields of ecological health, “One health” and “Planetary heath” research themes focusing at the influence of biodiversity, e.g., hosts and parasite diversity in regarding to environmental changes. Rodent-borne diseases as well as medical and veterinary parasitology are my research expertise. My work is dedicated to addressing the major research question of how biodiversity links to human, animal and environmental health at local and regional scales.
