Immunological Diagnosis for Schistosomiasis (Circum Oval Pricipitation Test)
Department of Social and Environmental Medicine provide the service for Immunological Diagnosis for Schistosome using Circum Oval Pricipitation Test (COPT) , This method detects serum antibodies of Schistosome by determining circumoval precipitates forming around S.mekongi S.mansoni and s.japonicum eggs. The results of the test will be reported after 48 hours incubation.
