Immunological Diagnosis for Schistosomiasis (Circum Oval Pricipitation Test)
Department of Social and Environmental Medicine provide the service for Immunological Diagnosis for Schistosoma mekongi using Circum Oval Pricipitation Test (COPT) , This method detects serum antibodies of S.mekongi by determining circumoval precipitates forming around S.mekongi eggs. The results of the test will be reported after 48 hours incubation.
