Field of Expertise

Research Interest

With expertise in Translational Bioanalytical Methodology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthida Sriboonvorakul conducts research that seamlessly bridges high-level analytical biochemistry with critical applied fields to deliver robust, real-world solutions.

Core Focus and Key Technology

Research Focus: Developing innovative bioanalytical methodologies and translating these findings into clinically, public health, food science, and agriculture-related relevant tools.
Key Technology: Expert utilization of advanced analytical biochemistry techniques, specifically Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) and Bioinformatics, to decode the chemical signatures of complex biological, food, and environmental systems

Current Research Pillars

Clinical & Health Diagnostics: Centered on Biomarker Discovery and Translation, this pillar focuses on identifying and validating molecular signatures for the early detection and monitoring of both infectious and non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

Food Science & Engineering: This work investigates the impact of food matrix properties on novel processing techniques, specifically exploring how matrix composition modulates the efficacy of photo- and sonodynamic sterilization technologies.
