
Supachai Topanurak
Dr. Supachai Topanurak is an assistant professor in the Department of Molecular Tropical Medicine and Genetics. He received a Ph.D. in biotechnology from Chiangmai University, Thailand and has been trained in proteomics at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, and the University of California, Los Angeles. (UCLA), USA. He has been working further in proteomics at the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute at the National Institutes of Health, USA. Currently, he applied proteomics to discover candidate antigens for immunotherapy against human papillomavirus-associated cancers and other oncogenic viruses, which are major causes of cancer in low- and middle-income countries. His research provides more insight and knowledge of infectious diseases and cancer as well.
