Akanitt Jittmittraphap

Akanitt Jittmittraphap is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Mahidol University's Faculty of Tropical Medicine, specializing in virology. With over two decades of experience, she has made significant contributions to research, teaching, and diagnostic services. Her work focuses on emerging viral zoonoses, including SARS-CoV-2, dengue, and Zika, leading to numerous publications and petty patents. Recently, she has advanced antiviral product development for research and service, including disinfectants and hygiene solutions. As a technical manager, she ensures compliance with ISO standards, fostering biosafety and efficiency in laboratory operations, and actively supports global health initiatives.
