Sumate Ampawong

Dr. Sumate Ampawong, Associate Professor in the Department of Tropical Pathology, Mahidol University, is an expert in malaria pathology, toxicologic pathology, immunohistochemistry, and electron microscopy. With a Ph.D. in Tropical Medicine from Mahidol University and a D.V.M. from Kasetsart University, he has made substantial contributions to tropical medicine. His research emphasizes immune response regulation, therapeutic innovations, and disease mechanisms, resulting in over 90 impactful publications in international journals. Dr. Ampawong’s active participation in global conferences and advanced training underscores his commitment to advancing tropical pathology and improving public health through innovative disease management strategies.
