The Department taught in the Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTM&H), and the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Tropical Medicine programs. In 2013, 3 and 2 students were working on M.Sc. and Ph.D. projects focusing on the pathogenesis and pathology of tropical diseases. Training courses in tropical pathology, electron microscopy and histopathology were provided upon request.
