Study Sites
Community-centred research is the core of MUHBS activities. Geographically dispersed across 4 research offices in SEA and partnering with more than 20 community based organizations and non-profit organizations.
MUHBS operates under the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, and is structured into four
core units:
1. Research Divisions:
- Adolescent Health & Well-being
- Gender, Sexuality, and Reproductive Health
- Migration and Border Health
- Ethics and Clinical Trials
2. Methodology Hub: Expertise in qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, and participatory action
research, including RCTs and cohort studies.
3. Intervention & Evaluation Unit: Designs and assesses behavioral, social, and multilevel
interventions.
Community Engagement Office: Facilitates stakeholder collaboration, dissemination, and participatory
governance via Community Advisory Boards.
