Protocol review process

1. Protocol submission
  • Download and complete the laboratory animal protocol form which available on Faculty of Tropical Medicine website
  • Print and sign the form before submit 4 copies to office of FTM-ACUC along with 1 copy of full proposal if available
  • Submit the above documents to the Office of FTM-ACUC at Laboratory Animal Science Unit, 12th floor, Chalermprakiat 50th year Building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University Tel 0-2306-9100 ext 2112, email:thanyaluk.krs@mahidol.ac.th

2. Review process
  • The review meeting occurs every last Tuesday of the month, The deadline of protocol submitting is within 7th of the month
  • The FTM-ACUC approve or request revisions to the protocol
3. PI notification
  • The FTM-ACUC office notice PI confirming that the protocol has been approved or needed revision. After 1 week of a review meeting, the committee will send a list of questions and comments to the PI. PI has aproximately 60days to submit the revised protocol before the next review meeting. The documentary proof of ethical clearance is provided for the PI's record.
  • Please note the approval number and approval period which available not more than 3 years
