Welcome to the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University
In the 1st year
Students on taught courses will be taking lectures during the weekday between 9am – 4pm. The lectures are mostly held in our lecture room, laboratory, computer lab and hospital in small class (less than 30 students).
Students can spend time
between lectures or after class with friends in various locations around the faculty ground including student room, library, coffee shop and open space.
Students are encouraged
to ask questions and participate in discussion. Apart from formal examinations in some topics, individual and group assignment and presentations are common methods of evaluation.
For security reason
students how need to spend late hours in the laboratory will require permission in advance from the Facilities and Environment sector.
