Professor Yaowalark Sukthana, Dean of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University welcomed honored guests; Professor Athasit Vejjajiva, former President of Mahidol University, Professor Rajata Rajatanavin, former President of Mahidol University and Professor Vicharn Panich, Chairman of Mahidol University Council; and chaired the special event of the year, the 9th Sornchai Looareesuwan Oration. Professor Kevin C. Kain; Sornchai Looareesuwan Medal 2015 laureate; gave a special talk titled ‘Inequity starts in utero: giving all children a chance to reach their potential’ on March 30th, 2016 at Chalermprakiat Conference Room, 5th floor, Chalermprakiat Building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
