Assistant Professor Dr. Pornsawan Leaungwutiwong, Head, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University chaired an opening ceremony of Laboratory Diagnosis for Emerging and Re-emerging Diseases in Tropics, an academic workshop hosted by Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. This workshop aims to provide knowledge on emerging and re-emerging diseases and experience laboratory diagnosis techniques for bacterial, viral and fungal diseases to lecturers, scientists, researchers, medical technologists and laboratory technicians from both government and private sectors. This three-day workshop was held during 13-15 July, 2016 at lecture room 2204, 4th floor, Chamlong Harinasuta Building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
