Associate Professor Dr. Pratap Singhasivanon, dean of Faculty of Tropical Medicine chaired Environment Day 2017 under “Connecting People to Nature” Theme. This event has been held annually for fourth year by TM Eco, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. The aim was to raise awareness of World Environment, Nature, and Energy Saving for the better.
This activity including nature-friendly expo such as pot tree, composed fertilizer, second hand bicycles and second hand items, Energy Saving Light Bulb, EM Bio Fertilizer DIY Demonstration and “Recycle garbage trades Eco Bag”, Canvas Bag painting competition. At the registration, there were pot trees provided for everyone who participated this event. Moreover, there were TM Bingo game open for participants to join. The Highlight of this event was “Connecting People to Nature: Who What When Where Why” Talk by Ms. Khemmasorn NooKaw, Thairath TV News Reporter , Associate Professor Kraichat Tantrakarnapa and Associate Professor Noppadon Tangpukdee. This event was successfully held on June 6th,2017 at Quinine Square, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
