On 27 February 2018, the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University and Mahidol-Osaka Center for Infectious Diseases (MOCID) co-hosted the International Joint Forum on Infectious Disease Research 2018 at the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
This forum aims to promote academic exchange especially on infectious disease research between Japan and Thailand. There were 11 researchers from 5 universities; Mahidol University, Nagasaki University, Hokkaido University, the University of Tokyo and Osaka University presenting about their research. Both Thai and Japanese researchers had a meaningful exchange and interaction through the forum.
