Associate Professor Yaowalark Sukthana, Dean of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University hosted Trop Med’s Annual Homecoming and memorable of founding’s day. Dean congratulated to faculty’s members who was promoted during the past year. The event including; pouring water on the hands of revered elders and ask for blessing and making merit for Thai’s New Year festival. Furthermore there were other activities for Songkran festival including sprinkle water onto a Buddha images, building sand pagoda and relaxing in temple fair atmosphere.
There also is the event of opening medical services for Hospital for Tropical Diseases to the new office at Rajanagarindra Building. Activities including; free blood examination for malaria, free stool examination for parasitic infections, free testing for blood sugar, free massages for head-shoulder pain, etc. Also the special seminars related to direction of Hospital for Tropical Diseases and introducing of TMD, the new medical services on new operating times. |
