Faculty of Tropical Medicine was so honored to have delegates from Hainan Medical University, led by President Jun yang together with Professor Xieju XIE, Professor of Pathophysiology, Director of Department of Academic Affairs, Professor Xiangdong ZHOU, Professor of Internal Medicine, Director of Respiratory Department, and the First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University. Professor Qianfeng XIA, Professor of Microbiology, Dean of School of Tropic Medicine and Laboratory Medicine and Ms. Sijing LI, Translator, Chief of Foreign Affairs Office for “Memorandum of Agreement Signing Ceremony between Faculty of Tropical Medicine and Hainan Medical University”. The ceremony was held at Pratap Singhasivanon Conference Room, 17th Floor, Rajanagarindra Building on 23 April 2019, and Chaired by Dean Pratap Singhasivanon, there were FTM executive board members attended this auspicious occasion as followings: Deputy dean for Administration and Finance Associate Professor Porntip Petmitr, Deputy Dean for Research Professor Srivicha Krudsood, Deputy Dean for Education Associate Professor Waranya Wongwit, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Faculty Welfare Lecturer Dr. Amornrat Aroonnual, Assistant Dean for Research Assistant Professor Poom Adisakwattana, Assistant Dean for International Relations Associate Professor Usa Boonyuen, Head, Department of Molecular Tropical Medicine and Genetics Professor Mallika Imwong and Deputy Director of Hospital of Tropical Diseases Associate Professor Noppadon tangpukdee.
Afterwards, the delegates was led by Professor Srivicha Krudsood and Associate Professor Noppadon Tangpukdee for Hospital of Tropical Diseases and Laboratories tour. FTM hosted lunch at Lin Fa Restaurant and in the afternoon, Dean together with Deputy Director for Research and Assistant Dean for International Relations accompanied the group of delegated to Mahidol University Salaya Campus, courtesy call to the Acting President Professor Banchong Mahaisavariya, the group was warmly welcomed by Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, Clin. Prof. Suwat Benjaponpitak and Director of International Relations Division Ms. Wanpimon Senapadpakorn . After meeting with the Acting President, delegates had a great time touring salaya campus and Sireeruckhachati Nature Learning Park.
This event was held successfully and also be the beginning of strengthening relationship between 2 institutes and upcoming Academic Collaborations.
