On 13 January 2022, Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University hosted an academic training about malaria entitled “Update on Management of Malaria in 2022”. Assoc. Prof. Watcharapong Piyaphanee, Director of the Hospital for Tropical Diseases chaired the training and Mrs. Kongkeaw Younboonhlim, Head of Nursing Department, Hospital for Tropical Diseases gave the report for the training.
This training aims to provide the participants about malaria treatment and clinical nursing practices for malaria patients. There were 2 speakers including Prof. Srivicha Krudsood, Director, Clinical Malaria Research Unit and Mrs. Thanee Raknam, Head of In-Patient Department, Hospital for Tropical Diseases. The training was held on online platform via Zoom Application.
