On 14 January, 2022, Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University hosted interdisciplinary training entitled "The Second Anniversary of COVID - 19". Assoc. Prof. Watcharapong Piyaphanee, Director of the Hospital for Tropical Diseases chaired the training. This training is comprised of 3 lectures including
1) “Our tough year” by Assoc. Prof. Viravarn Luvira, Department of Clinical Tropical Medicine
2) “Travel medicine during the Covid – 19 era” by Dr. Wasin Matsee, Department of Clinical Tropical Medicine
3) “Omicron, You are not welcome! Treatment and prevention” by Dr. Tanaya Siripoon, Department of Clinical Tropical Medicine and Mrs. Pittaya Piroonamornpun, Head of Out-Patient Department, Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
         This training aims to provide an update for participants about COVID-19 pandemic situation during the past two years including the current outbreak of Omicron variants and to give a review for participants to be aware and to help preventing the spread of COVID-19 disease. This training was held on online platform via Zoom Application.
