On 3 May 2022, Dr. Leo Braack, Senior Vector Control Specialist: Malaria Consortium Asia and Technical Lead: APMEN Vector Control Working Group introduced Director, Global Operations Support and Asia from Malaria Consortium, Tom Heslop and team members to Dean Weerapong Phumratanaprapin, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Prof. Kesinee Chotivanich and Deputy Dean for Research, Research Prof. Dr. Jetsumon Prachumsri during their visit to the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
On this occasion, Dean Weerapong Phumratanaprapin expressed his sincere thanks on behalf of the Faculty concerning the Dr Sylvia Meek Scholarship for Entomology supported by Malaria Consortium. They also discussed on current and possible future collaborations between Malaria Consortium and the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
