On 6 May 2022, MORU Director Prof. Nicholas Day introduced Assoc. Prof. HSU Li Yang, Vice Dean of Global Health and Programme Leader of Infectious Diseases from National University of Singapore Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health to Dean Weerapong Phumratanaprapin and Deputy Dean for International Relations, Prof. Kesinee Chotivanich during his visit to the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University and MORU.
On this occasion, they discussed on their memorandum of understanding relating to the creation of a network for clinical research in Asia. Dean Weerapong Phumratanaprapin gave an overview about the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol-BSTM international programs, JITMM 2022 in December 2022. They also discussed on possible collaborations regarding research and staff and student exchange.
