On 12 July 2022, Assoc. Prof. Weerapong Phumratanaprapin, Dean of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University together with Asst. Prof. Wirongrong Chierakul, Deputy Dean for Education and Quality Development and Research Professor Dr. Jetsumon Prachumsri, Deputy Dean for Research joined the online meeting via Zoom Application with Prof. Elijah Songok, Director of Capacity building and team memb ers from Kenya Medical Research Institute, Nairobi, Kenya. Mr. Torsak Janpian, Minister Counsellor, the Royal Thai Embassy in Nairobi also joined this meeting as well.
The objective of this meeting is to discuss about possible collaborations including Research Collaboration, Academic Collaboration and International Conference. Initially, they discussed about research collaboration in the field of Malaria and the Soil-transmitted helminths.
