During 4-5 August 2022, Asst. Prof. Teera Kusolsuk, Assistant Dean for Faculty Welfare and Special Affairs, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University attended “The Saenthong Experience, Ten Years of Collaboration Project on Biodiversity and Community Health” event which was held at Tha Wang Pha District Office, Nan Province. The event started with the opening remarks by Mr. Wisit Thaweesing, Deputy Governor of Nan province, followed by the event report by Mr. Suthat Jintavechasart, District Chief of Nan province and remarked on the collaborations between the Faculty and its partners by Asst. Prof. Teera Kusolsuk. On this occasion, Prof. Serge Morand, Visiting Professor, Faculty of Tropical Medicine gave the report on the background of the project and express project appreciation to all the partners as well as the research associates.
Afterward, Deputy Governor Wisit and distinguished guests visited the field study area and walked through the exhibition area from many institutes, such as Bureau of General Communicable Diseases, Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, Faculty of Veterinary Technology, Kasetsart University and Tha Wang Pha District Livestock Office, etc. At the event, Asst. Prof. Kittipong Chaisiri and team members from Department of Helminthology organized an exhibition to educate and to give advice on the prevention of helminths diseases.
