On 31 October 2022, Assoc. Prof. Weerapong Phumratanaprapin, Dean, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University together with Prof. Kesinee Chotivanich, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jittima Dhitavat, Deputy Dean for Administration and Strategy, Assoc. Prof. Dorn Watthanakulpanich, Head of Department of Helminthology, Assoc. Prof. Supaluk Popruk and Assoc. Prof. Saengduen Moonsom from Department of Protozoology cordially welcomed Dr. Wisnu Barlianto, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia along with Dr. Mohammad Saifur Rohman, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and team members to Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. On this occasion, they discussed about academic issues and also shared their presentations on the past and recent academic activities between the two institutions.
Furthermore, there was the MOA Signing Ceremony between the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University and Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia. This cooperation aims to continue close relationship as well as the development of academic and research collaborations in the future. After the ceremony, the Universitas Brawijaya team also paid a visit to the Hospital of Tropical Diseases which was led by Assoc. Prof. Watcharapong Piyaphanee, Director of the Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
