Dr. Tamaki Okabayashi, Deputy Director of MOCID introduced Dr. Takayuki Miyazawa from Institute of Virology, Kyoto University, Dr. Takeshi Kobayashi from Research Institute for microbial Disease, Osaka University, Dr. Takasuke Fukuhara from Research Institute for microbial Disease, Osaka University and Dr. Atushi Tanaka from Thailand-Japan Research Collaboration Center on Emerging and Re-emerging Infections, Thailand to Assoc. Prof. Yaowalark Sukthana, Dean of Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University and Assoc. Prof. Emsri Pongponratn, Deputy Dean for International Affairs to discuss on possible research collaborations in the future at Office of the Dean, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
Dr. Takayuki Miyazawa also gave a lunch talk on “Exogenous and endogenous Betaretroviru; Implications in the evolution of mammals” and together with Dr. Witthawat Wiriyarat, Acting director, Center for Veterinary Diagnosis, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University gave a talk on “Viral infection in non-human primate of Thailand” to the Faculty staff members at Chalermprakiat Conference Room, 5th Floor, Chalermprakiat Building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. |
