MOU Signing Ceremony among the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) of France, Mahidol University, and Kasetsart University |

On 12th July 2023, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication on behalf of Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, along with Mr. Antoine Petit, Chief Executive Officer of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), and Asst.Prof.Ratchot Chompunich, Vice President for Student Affairs and Sustainable Development, Kasetsart University attended the official signing ceremony of the establishment of the "Health, Disease Ecology, Environment, and Policy" laboratory, "HealthDEEP." With the presence of H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to Thailand at the French Ambassador's Residence, in Bangkok.
There were representatives from the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University; Research Professor Dr. Jetsumon Prachumsri, Deputy Dean for Research; Prof. Dr.Serge Morand, Adjunct Professor of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine; Asst. Prof. Dr.Teera Kusolsuk, Assistant Dean for Faculty Welfare and Special Affairs, and Asst.Prof. Kittipong Chaisiri, Assistant Professor of the Department of Helminthology also joined in this ceremony.
This MOU aims to establish the "Health, Disease Ecology, Environment, and Policy" research laboratory, named “HealthDEEP”, which focuses on the connections between biodiversity and human health. |
