On 5 March 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerapong Phumratanaprapin, Dean of Faculty of Tropical Medicine together with the Administrative Board Members welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Heo Chong Chin, Director and teams from the Institute of Medical Molecular Biotechnology (IMMB), Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia at Pratap Singhasivanonh conference room, 17th floor, Rajanagarindra building.
On this occasion, they introduced about each other, shared the program information and discussed on their possible collaboration including the student exchange program, staff exchange, potential external examiners and supervisors for postgraduate students and potential research collaboration between two universities. They also visited the Laboratory of the Hospital for Tropical Diseases and the Research and Development Unit for Insect Vector Control of the Department of Medical Entomology.
