On 28 March 2024, Assoc. Prof.Weerapong Phumratanaprapin, Dean of Faculty of Tropical Medicine and Mr.Masakuni Yukita, President and CEO of Remedy & Company Corporation together with their administrative members, presided over the MoU signing ceremony between Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University and Remedy & Company Corporation of Japan.
The ceremony was honorably witnessed by Prof. Kesinee Chotivanich, Deputy Dean for International Relations, and Dr.Motoko Arakaki, Manager of Infection Disease trial team, at Chlaermprakieat Conference Room, 5th floor, Chalermprakieat Building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
This MoU aims to promote and support collaboration and innovation between the two institutes in combating tropical diseases, fortifying prevention strategies, and enhancing global readiness for pandemic to achieve the “100 days mission,” which was agreed upon by the G7 Leaders, focusing on collaborative scientific efforts leading to the development of Diagnostics, Therapeutics, and Vaccines (DTVs).
