On 8 May 2024, Dr. Phimphan Pitsuwan, Assistant Dean for International Relations together with Associate Professor of the Department of Helminthology, Dr. Poom Adisakwattana, cordially welcomed Prof. Darren Gray, Director of Population Health and Dr. Catherine Gordon, Senior Research Officer, from QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute from Australia. The event was held at 6601 Conference Room, 6^th floor of the 60^th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne Building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.

             On this occasion, they introduced each other and share the program information, including the initiation of signing the MoU between the two institutions in the next occasion. We also proposed about staff exchange opportunities, and the Joint International Tropical Medicine Meeting (JITMM 2024) which will be held from 11-13 December 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand.
