The Department of Tropical Hygiene, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, in collaboration with the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University, and University of Bremen organize the Workshop on "The Network of Excellence in Advanced Information Technology for Tropical Medicine"
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Weerapong Phumratanaprapin, Dean of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University together with Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council, Mahidol University attended the Opening Ceremony for the event. The event was also honored by Prof. Dr. Michal Kucera, Vice President for Research and Transfer, and Dr. Mandy Boehnke, Vice President for International Affairs, Academic Qualification and Diversity, University of Bremen, alongside Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, President of Mahidol University, who joined in extending a warm welcome to all participants.
The workshop took place from March 13-17, 2025, at the Department of Tropical Hygiene, 9th Floor, Tranakchit Harinasuta Building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. This workshop aims to serve as a platform for sharing experiences and knowledge that will benefit education, research, and medicine in the field of tropical diseases, with presentations from experts in various disciplines. This provides an important opportunity to foster international collaboration.
