On July 2, 2025, the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, led by Dean Weerapong Phumratanaprapin together with administrative team participated in the virtual meeting at 6601 conference room, 6th floor, 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King's Accession to the Throne building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University to discuss with Prof. Adilia Warris, representative from the Medical Research Council Centre for Medical Mycology (MRC CMM), University of Exeter regarding potential academic and collaboration opportunities between the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University and the University of Exeter to open a Centre for Medical Mycology in Southeast Asia.
