On 1 December 2025, the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, together with the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), organized the JITMM 2025 Pre-meeting under the theme “Asia and Pacific Rim Research Integrity (APRI) Network Meeting 2025.” The meeting was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerapong Phumratanaprapin, Dean of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, Ms. Sirinporn Deawtrakool, Deputy Executive Director of the National Research Council of Thailand, and Prof. Mai Har Sham, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Vice President (Research), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, who together warmly welcomed all participants at the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok.
            The event featured keynote lectures by international experts, along with panel discussions on various topics such as Research Integrity and Artificial Intelligence, Ethical Use of Genomics Data, and Regional Collaboration. The meeting provided a platform for faculty members, researchers, AI technology developers, and science policymakers to exchange perspectives, build shared understanding, and collectively promote a research ecosystem that is transparent, trustworthy, and fair to all sectors.
