Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University organizes the 24th Virtual International Training Course on Management of Malaria
             The Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, as the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre (WHOCC) for Case Management, Training, and Research on Malaria and the BIMSTEC Centre of Excellence on Tropical Medicine, in collaboration with the WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia (WHO SEARO), the Department of International Economic Affairs, and the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organized the 24th Virtual International Training Course on Management of Malaria from 17–21 August 2026 via an online platform.
           The training featured online multimedia presentations, case discussions, and experience-sharing sessions with experts from the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
           The course aimed to provide participants with updated knowledge on the current malaria situation, diagnosis, treatment, management, prevention, and control, while also facilitating the exchange of experiences among participants from different countries. A total of 22 physicians, scientists, and health experts from 10 countries, including Japan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Philippines, Malaysia, Nepal, Somaliland, and Thailand, participated virtually in the training.
