This Laboratory Test Submission Manual has been prepared by the Tropical Medicine Reference Laboratory, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, in accordance with the laboratory’s analytical procedures. It is intended for distribution to service users, including inpatient wards, outpatient departments, the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, as well as external organizations from both the public and private sectors, and research projects.
The objective of this manual is to support the accurate, convenient, and timely submission of laboratory specimens that meet appropriate quality and scientific standards. Ensuring the proper condition of submitted specimens contributes directly to the reliability and accuracy of laboratory test results.
The working group sincerely hopes that this manual will serve as a valuable resource for all users and will enhance the quality and efficiency of the pre-analytical process for specimen submission to the Tropical Medicine Reference Laboratory.
