Background

Dr. Salin Sirinam is Lecturer in the Department of Tropical Pediatrics. She was awarded her Doctor of Medicine degree by Mahidol University. She holds a Diploma of Thai Board of Pediatrics and Diploma of Thai Subspecialty Board of Pediatric Nephrology. She works at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases and involved in teaching and research.

Dr. Salin is expert in pediatrics and nephrology, with special interest in tropical kidney and infectious diseases. She has an extensive training experience in both government and academic hospitals. She completed her pediatrics residency at Chonburi Hospital, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand and has been trained at Pediatric Nephrology Division, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Chulalongkorn University where her work and research focused on acute kidney injury. In 2018 she received a grant to be a visitor of Nephrology Department, Children’s Medical Center Dallas, USA and gained more experience in kidney dialysis. Currently, she is involved in drug and vaccine trials in Department of Tropical Pediatrics and working on the projects of dengue in children. With other Faculty researchers, she also expands her research areas in the clinical utility of novel marker in melioidosis.
