Background

Dr. Nathamon Kosoltanapiwat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. She received her B.Sc. in Medical Technology and Ph.D. in Microbiology from Mahidol University. She is involved in research in the Department and teaching at the Bangkok School of Tropical Medicine.

Research

Dr. Nathamon is an expert in molecular microbiology and molecular virology. She has wide laboratory experience in utilizing cell, molecular, immunological, and virological techniques. She is also adept in using bioinformatics tools for sequence analysis.
