Background

Dr. Amornrat Aroonnual is a Lecturer in the Department of Tropical Nutrition and Food Science. She received her Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Mahidol University, Thailand. She is among researchers within the Faculty whose research targets probiotic bacteria and food-borne pathogens.

Dr. Amornrat is an expert in food microbiology, molecular biology, food safety and biotechnology. Her research activities include studies on screening and identification of antimicrobial compounds from bacteria. She is highly proficient in the study of probiotic bacteria including their inhibitory effects against food-borne pathogens.
