Background

Dr Karunee Kwanbunjan is Associate Professor in the Department of Tropical Nutrition & Food Science. She obtained her BS.c in Biology from Kasetsart University and M.Sc. in Tropical Medicine from Mahidol University, Thailand. She completed her Dr. oec. troph. degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Justus-Liebig University, Giessen, Germany. She teaches students from the Diploma, M.Sc. and Ph.D. courses at the Bangkok School of Tropical Medicine in the topics related to tropical nutrition and food science.

Dr. Karunee is expert in tropical nutrition with special interest in epidemiological and biochemical nutrition and food safety. She has established collaborative links with international and Thai research communities.
