Background

Dr. Yaowapa Maneerat is an Associate Professor in the Department of Tropical Pathology. She received her D.V.M. degree from Chulalongkorn University and completed her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Pathobiology at Mahidol University, Thailand. She is involved in research in the Department and teaching at the Bangkok School of Tropical Medicine.

Dr. Yaowapa specializes in the immunohistochemistry of tropical and infectious diseases, including malaria and gnathostomiasis. She is also an expert in tissue culture.
